Details:
Horn sharks get their name from the two distinct ridges protruding from their head. They are slow-moving, bottom-dwelling sharks that use their pectoral fins to “walk” along the seafloor. With strong, molar-like teeth, they are able to crush hard-shelled prey like sea urchins, crabs, and mollusks. They spend most of the day hiding in crevices and caves, emerging at night to hunt.
