Throughout the Indo-Pacific region, Napoleon wrasses can be found near steep, outer reef slopes, channels and lagoons.

Details:

Napoleon wrasses can range in color from blue-green to purple-blue. One of its most distinctive features is its hump-like knob on the forehead, which protrudes past the face, earning it the nickname “Humphead Wrasse”. They are one of the largest species of wrasse, reaching up to 6 feet (2 meters) in length.
