These jellies eat a variety of small prey including zooplankton, krill, fish eggs and other jellies.

Range & Habitat:

Found in the waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean, northern sea nettles are often found in shallow waters of coastal areas.

Details:

The northern sea nettle can range in color from pink and orange to white and yellow. Their bell, or head, has darker radial lines and attaches 24 long, thin tentacles. These nettles have an additional four white, fluffy arms used to catch prey.
