Range & Habitat:

The sailfin molly can live in fresh, brackish or salt water environments. Commonly found in the Gulf of Mexico and lowland habitats from North Carolina to Florida, these fish inhabit ponds, swamps and marshes.

Details:

Sailfin mollies have silver-gray bodies with a dark-spotted scales and yellow coloring near their face. They have big, dark eyes, rounded tails, small faces and extensive dorsal fins.
