In the Indo-West Pacific, sea goldies can be found near patch reefs, lagoons, channels and outer reef slopes.
Details:
Females in this species are small and orange, while the males are slightly larger and magenta-pink in color. Males also have a long spine extending off the front of their dorsal fin.
