Range & Habitat:

Spot-fin butterflyfish can be found near shallow coral reefs in Florida. They've also been found in the Caribbean Sea.

Details:

The spot-fin butterflyfish has an oval, white body with bright yellow fins. Near the back of the dorsal fin is a large dark spot, giving the spot-fin butterflyfish its name. They have a thick black bar running from the top of their body, through their eyes and to the base of their belly.
