These fish feed on small fishes and benthic invertebrates like snails and worms.

Range & Habitat:

Commonly found in lagoons, rocky areas and coral reef communities, twolined monocle breams exist in the greater Indo-Pacific Ocean.

Details:

Twolined monocle bream fish are two-toned in color, the top half of their body being darker in color and the bottom half being silver. The fish does have striping around its eye, resembling a monocle, hence the name “monocle bream”.
