Diet:

These fish eat plankton, sea stars, sea cucumbers, urchins, worms, shrimps, crabs and other benthic crustaceans.

Range & Habitat:

In the eastern and western Atlantic Ocean, yellow goatfish can be found in coral reef communities, rocky areas, submerged vegetation, mangroves and estuaries.

Details:

Yellow goatfish are light olive in color on top and white below. They have a single yellow stripe that runs horizontally from their eye to their yellow forked tails.
