Turtle upon arrival
3/29 Live adult female loggerhead found in the surf on Siesta Beach. Turtle is lethargic and anemic. Carapace was covered in algae and barnacles. 3/30 Turtle is eating everything she is offered. 4/20 Turtle is responding well to treatment for lethargic loggerhead syndrome and is eating well and gaining weight. 5/11 Turtle is eating very well and gaining weight. Responding well to treatment. 7/6 Turtle was released this morning on Lido Beach after 100 days of care at Mote Marines Sea Turtle Hospital.
