Turtle on arrival.
3/1 Turtle was recovered by the trawler collecting ahead of the dredge operating off Siesta Key. Turtle has multiple fibropapillomas (tumors), including on both eyes. It also has a fracture on the back edge of the carapace, is emaciated, and is lethargic. Turtle has been started on antibiotics and fluids, and the fracture has been splinted. 3/2 Turtle died early this morning. Necropsy indicated probable septicemia.
