Final Disposition
10/27/2015 Turtle arrived at Mote with numerous fibropapilloma tumors and fishing line entanglements around many of the tumors. Some tumors are present on plastron as well as tissue. Fishing line was removed; administered fluids, and turtle was placed in shallow water.
10/28/2015 Turtle is eating food when offered and was given antibiotics. Radiographs were taken to assess tumor impacts to flippers.
10/30/2015 Turtle was humanely euthanized due to the severity of its tumors.
