At Mote SEA, science is the attraction, and birthdays are anything but ordinary! Dive into discovery and celebrate your child’s special day in one of our STEM teaching labs, each offering hands-on fun and unforgettable adventures. Whether you’ve got a budding marine biologist, a junior chemist or a future ocean explorer, Mote SEA is the place to celebrate, explore, and make waves! Recommended for Ages 3-12.

Choose from:
- Marine Biology Bash Hosted in our Marine Ecology Lab and perfect for the animal lover and those kids that want to save the world and all the critters in it! Your party guests will meet and greet with our ambassador turtles, learn about and role play animals in a marine ecosystem and join our ocean warrior club to help us spread the word on how to protect marine life.
- Sea Chemistry Carnival Hosted in our Biomedical Lab and great for the curious kid who loves to mix, fizz, and experiment with marine science that pops! Your party guests will become marine chemists as you experiment with different liquids and chemical reactions, look at organisms under the microscope and find out just how important good water quality is to our ocean.
- Ocean Tech Time Hosted in our Ocean Technology Lab and ideal for the young inventor. Build, tinker, and test ocean-inspired creations like a real marine engineer! Your party guests will learn how Mote is using technology to save the sea, get to play in our experimental raceway to find out what it takes for boats, underwater robots and even marine life to float, sink and move around the ocean with ease.
Each party includes:
- Private lab space for 1.5 hours hosted by a professional Mote Educator
- Each lab has up to 14 2ft x 5ft adjustable tables and a private bathroom
- Engaging age-appropriate STEM activities complementing your chosen lab
- Ocean themed backdrop, props and costumes for fin-tastic photo ops
- A special Mote gift for the birthday kiddo
- Eco-friendly plates, cups and silverware
- A PDF invitation to share with guests
- Admission to Mote SEA for all of your guests (maximum 40)
Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00-11:30am OR 1:00-2:30pm
