Mote Science Talks are 40-60 minute lecture-style presentations with time for audience questions.

Our live, interactive programs connect your school or organization virtually with our world-class marine research institution in Florida. You choose the date and time, and we deliver the STEM engagement. Up to 500 login links.

  • In-person, $350 honorarium. At your venue, we come to you. For adult and college audiences in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, Lee, Hardee, DeSoto, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties. Mote is an independent, nonprofit marine research institution. The honorarium for Mote Science Talks supports our mission to protect our ocean and the lives and livelihoods that depend on it.

REQUEST AN IN-PERSON SPEAKER

  • At Mote SEA, $350 honorarium. You come to us at the Mote Science Education Aquarium for an engaging presentation led by Mote educators or researchers. Held in our Teaching Labs, these talks are designed for adult and college audiences and explore current marine research and conservation efforts. For up to 36 participants, available on weekdays after 2:00 p.m. Please note that admission tickets to Mote SEA are sold separately and not included in the honorarium.
