Journey into the ocean and explore incredible habitats, from sun-soaked coastal shores to the vast, mysterious deep sea. Join educators and special guests as we discover the animals, ecosystems, and wonders that make our ocean so extraordinary.

Brought to you by Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center®, and select partners.

You choose how much or how little to participate. Each day there are up to 3 one-hour sessions. Each partner hosts a different session. You register for the whole week but can participate live in any of the individual sessions of your choosing. A daily agenda with topics, resources, and Zoom links will be sent to you when you register.

Registration Information

  • Registration is required for all participants.
  • Parents or legal guardians may complete one registration per household.
  • Participation is free for individuals and families.
  • Voluntary donations are appreciated and will be shared among participating organizations to support environmental research and education programs.

Camp Details

  • Designed for children ages 6–9, though learners of all ages are welcome.
  • Each session includes a blend of LIVE interactive lessons and self-paced online activities and resources.
  • Can’t attend live? Recordings will be available in the online classroom so participants can catch up anytime.

After completing online registration, you will receive:

  1. A confirmation email after registering.
  2. A second email the week before camp begins with access to the Camp Welcome Packet.

The Welcome Packet will include:

  • Instructions for accessing the Google Classroom
  • Information for joining live camp lessons
  • Links and resources for camp activities
