12/13/2016  Turtle was one of hundreds found stranded and cold-stunned and taken to New England Aquarium for treatment.

01/02/2017  Fisher was flown to Sarasota in a private plane and transported to Mote.  Animal is very active.  Was placed in a rehab. tank at low water level.

01/05/2017  Fisher is actively foraging all food offered.  Water depth was increased.  

01/27/2017  Fisher continues to improve.  Animal is very active, strong, and continues to forage all food offered.

02/06/2017  Fisher has been medically cleared for release.

02/10/2017  Fisher was released on the East Coast of Florida by FWC

Fisher in the private plane. Fisher is in the plastic carrier. Each of the banana boxes holds a juvenile Kemp's ridley sea turtle. They were later flown to marathon for rehabilitation at the Turtle Hospital.
