1/13 Turtle was admitted to the hospital after a mass stranding event statewide. This turtle was one of more than 600 that stranded on the state's east coast from the Mosquito Lagoon area. 1/14 Turtle was alert and swimming vigorously and appeared to be doing well after spending a short time in a medical pool. In an effort to bring in additional and sicker turtles, the decision was made to release Star. Turtle was transported to Juno Beach for a shoreside release.
