Amber is a lifelong resident of Sarasota and Manatee Counties and has always had a deep appreciation for Florida’s waterways and marine life. Whether she’s on the water, participating in local conservation efforts, or simply enjoying the coast with family and friends, she values the natural resources that make the region unique.
Before joining Mote, Amber built her career in grant accounting, business office management, and operational roles with local organizations. She enjoys finding practical solutions to complex challenges, building collaborative relationships, and creating systems that help people do their best work.
Now serving as Senior Manager of the Office of Operations, Amber provides strategic leadership for research administration and operational services that support Mote’s scientific mission. She is proud to contribute to an organization dedicated to advancing marine science, conservation, and education while supporting the people and processes that make that work possible.
