Biography:
Dean Dougherty works in the Marine Operations department at Mote Marine Laboratory handling scheduling, animal procurement and captaining vessels. He is a licensed United States Coast Guard captain and commercial pilot with multi-engine, IFR, and CFI ratings. Born and raised in Sarasota, Dean has worked for Mote for over 18 years.

B.S. in Aeronautics with a Major in Commercial Aviation, University of North Dakota
