Biography:
Jeanie Stevenson serves as the Secretary of Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium’s Board of Trustees, along with Vice-Chair of the Board’s Education & Outreach Committee and a member of its
Aquarium Committee.
Stevenson has been involved with many nonprofits in New Hampshire and Florida, and Mote has a truly special place in her heart. She grew up in Sarasota and attended Out-of-Door School through 9th grade. She was in the charter class of New College after graduating from St Timothy’s School in Maryland. She and her husband, Bayne Stevenson, spend nearly six months of each year in Lyme, New Hampshire, and nearly six months in Boca Grande, Florida. They spend the rest of their time traveling the country in their Airstream camper. Their three children and six grandchildren are involved in many different careers across the country.
