Biography:

Kaitlynn received her masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2020. Her research focused on understanding the impact of beach nourishment on the temperature profile of loggerhead sea turtle nesting beaches across North Carolina. She joined the Sea Turtle Conservation & Research Program in 2023 as an intern, returned as a Seasonal Biological Technician in 2024, and was hired as a staff biologist for the program in 2025.
