Biography:

Kari started as an intern in the Marine Microbiology Program researching novel antibiotic-producing marine bacteria. She then transitioned to the Coral Health and Disease Program as an intern, where she continued microbial work cultivating coral pathogens for various transmission studies, and provided support for a range of projects. As a staff member, her work focuses on the use of microsatellite analysis to identify unique coral genets in preparation for outplanting.
