Biography:

Matthew Resley joined Mote Marine Laboratory in 2005, and currently serves as the Broodstock Manager at Mote Aquaculture Research Park, where he is responsible for fish reproduction. He works on developing techniques for spawning and rearing new fish species in aquaculture, and he has co-authored more than 20 articles on the subject. Resley was part of the Mote team that undertook some of the world’s first efforts to maintain, condition and spawn two species of snook in captivity. Resley received his Master of Arts in Mariculture and his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at Texas A&M University.

B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in marine science from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
