Rachel Warren (she/her)

Biography:

Rachel Warren was an intern with the Sea Turtle Conservation & Research Program (STCRP) for the 2017 sea turtle season. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Science & Biology from East Stroudsburg University in December 2017. She spent two years as a lead microbiologist at a laboratory in Pennsylvania before moving to Florida in spring 2020. Rachel returned to the STCRP in May 2020 and has spent every season since volunteering and working seasonally with the program. She accepted a full time position to continue the conservation and research efforts with the sea turtle program in February 2024. Rachel holds a Florida Marine Turtle Permit and has a true passion for working on the beach everyday. She enjoys spending her days off as an emergency veterinary technician at a local pet hospital. She loves being out on the water and snorkeling to explore the beauty of the ocean.
