Mark Resnick, General Manager

With over a decade of experience, Mark is a highly experienced restaurant professional who understands the inner workings of every level of the industry. Starting from a bartending role, Mark quickly rose through the ranks to become the General Manager for Deep Blue Hospitality at Mote SEA and Sophie’s at Saks Fifth Avenue, where he has successfully overseen innovative dining experiences and exceptional service standards for Sodexo Live! since August 2014. Renowned for his flair in crafting unforgettable experiences, expertly managing large-scale events, and nurturing team development, Mark’s dedication to the hospitality industry is fueled by his passion for delivering nothing short of excellence.

Jaryd Hearn, Executive Chef

With over 14 years of experience both in the U.S. and internationally, Jaryd’s previous roles include Executive Chef at Brasserie Liberte in Georgetown, where he directed the launch of a prestigious restaurant serving high-profile clientele, and AM Sous Chef at Alinea, a 3-Michelin-starred establishment known for its inventive dining experiences. In the Deep Blue Hospitality kitchen, Chef Jaryd combines traditional methods with modern techniques to inspire guests with unique flavors and stunning presentations that linger long after the meal is finished.
