Diet:

These sharks eat small fish like anchovies, pinfish and porgies. They've also been known to snack on octopus.

Range & Habitat:

Blacknose sharks can be found in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea living in coastal waters over coral, sand or shell bottoms.

Details:

These sharks are named for the dark shading on the tip of their snout, which is more prominent in juveniles and fades with age. They have slender, yellowish-gray bodies with countershaded (paler) bellies.
