Here the turtle was deemed "Francis". Francis was given fluids and placed in a rehabilitation pool.

01/07/2021  Francis has been recovering well. Francis has been foraging since the first day of being here. Francis is also reciving injectable antibiotics and oral supplements with an antifungal.

01/17/2021  Francis continues to do well. Francis was taken off all antibiotics and the anti-fungal.

02/01/2021  Francis was medically cleared for release but will spend a few days in a dolphin rehabilitation tank to slowly get used to colder water to match the current ocean temperature.

02/08/2021   Blue Spruce, Francis, Catherine, Ruby Sue, and Margo were transported and released by Mote staff on the east coast of Florida off of New Smyrna Beach.
