03/28/2019 Reno was found tumbling in the surf in a section of Vero Beach, behind a house. The house residents brought Reno onto the beach. Was taken to Brevard Zoo Sea Turtle Healing Center.

04/02/2019 Reno was transferred to Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium's sea turtle hospital. Was put on subcutaneous fluid therapy and a round of injectable antibiotics. Not eating yet.

04/12/2019 Reno is now eating better and the injectable antibiotic was replaced with an oral version.

5/10/2019 Reno was put on an oral iron supplement 3 times a week.

05/26/2019 Reno's oral antibiotic and iron supplement were discontinued! Continues to improve and is gaining weight.

06/19/2019 Reno was medically cleared and released by Mote staff and interns off of the east coast.
