Protect Our Reef specialty license plate
Drive coral reef conservation
Purchase a Protect Our Reefs specialty license plate for as a gift or for your own car, truck or trailer.
For each plate sold, Mote’s Protect Our Reefs program receives a direct $25 annual donation. This donation funding goes straight to the restoration and research of our coral reefs so the more plates that are sold, the faster we can restore our coral reefs.

Adopt an Animal
Support the animals in Mote's care
 The purchase of a symbolic animal adoption goes towards supporting the care of hundreds of animals that call Mote home.
Animal options: jellyfish, manatee, otter, sea turtle, seahorse, shark or stingray.

Santa Jaws is coming to town!
Peo ple of all ages can celebrate the holiday SEAson with a visit to Mote Aquarium, open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 365 days per year at 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota. Meet and take photos with Santa Jaws (Mote's Gilly the Shark dressed up for the holidays) on the following days:
- Nov. 24, 12 to 2 p.m.
- Dec. 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Ocean Fest in Islamorada
Get ready to celebrate coral reefs at Mote's Islamorada Ocean Fest, a family-friendly event full of fun, crafts, games, music, food and shopping, showcasing Florida's treasured marine environment while raising funds for coral reef research and restoration. Event details:
- 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018
- Founders Park in Islamorada
- Reduce plastic waste and bring a reusable water bottle to fill at the event's free water refill stations.
