Stacy Alexander grew up in St. Petersburg, FL and began her career as a victim advocate for the State Attorney’s Office for the Eighth and Twelfth Judicial Circuits. Ms. Alexander received her undergraduate degree in 2000 from the University of Florida and her Master of Arts degree in 2007 from the University of Louisville. Ms. Alexander joined Mote Marine Laboratory in November 2007 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President for Community Relations and Communications in 2013. Ms. Alexander is responsible for the Lab’s community relations activities, its collaborative marketing and public relations campaigns, the Aquarium’s membership program and special events. She is a graduate of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class of 2012 and a recent graduate of the Gulf Coast Leadership Institute program. During her career she has served as Past-President of the Sarasota County Gator Club, Florida Public Relations Association board member, St. Armand’s Association Board Member and Visit Florida Communications Committee member.
