This turtle was found floating offshore from Venice Inlet.  It was unable to submerge and was having breathing difficulty.  It appears to be affected by red tide toxicosis, and has been started on treatment. 8/19 Turtle is slightly stronger, but is in critical condition.  We are hopeful to see some improvement in the next 48 hours. 8/20 Turtle died late last night.  Necropsy is pending.
