Inky upon admission.

3/9 Turtle found stranded and lethargic on the beach.  Large papilloma tumor on neck and other tumors present along with leech eggs on plastron and flipper. Bloodwork indicate low glucose, calcium and RBC's.  Turtle given antiparasitcs, antiobiotic treatment, calcium injection and fluid therapy.

3/12 Turtle eating food offered, given potassium supplements. Turtle is being maintained at low water level because it floats. 

3/28 Turtle has continued with antibiotic treatment and is receiving iron injections due to low levels. Turtle continues to eat well and will actively go after its food.

4/28 Turtle underwent surgery to remove tumors.  Recovered well from surgery.

5/21 Turtle has high white blood cell count; started on antibiotic therapy.

6/24 Turtle had small regrowths. Performed minor surgery. 

7/15 Turtle doing well, and no signs of regrowth. Have applied for release. 

7/30 Turtle was released near Sebastian Inlet.
