03/20/2019 Snoot was found on a beach in Spessard Holland South Beach Park in Brevard County, FL.Treated by Brevard Zoo Sea Turtle Healing Center. No injuries but had a carapace full of barnacles.

04/02/2019 Snoot transferred to Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium's sea turtle hospital. Snoot was put on subcutaneous fluid therapy and a round of injectable antibiotics. Did not eat.

04/12/2019 Snoot is eating well and has been put on an oral antibiotic instead of injectable.

05/26/2019 Snoot's oral antibiotic was discontinued! Continues to improve and gain weight.

06/12/2019 Veterinary staff are monitoring Snoot's white blood cell count for a couple more weeks due to a slight increase.

07/02/2019 Snoot is being considered for release.

07/12/2019 Snoot was released off of Cocoa Beach, FL!
