04/21/2020 Egg was released off of Lido Beach in Sarasota, FL!!
03/15/2020 Egg was found floating in the water along the sea wall in Charlotte Harbor near Ponce Deleon Park. Egg was rescued and brought to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium's Sea Turtle Hospital for rehabilitation. Egg presented as lethargic and with neurologic issues. Egg was dry docked over night.
03/16/2020 Egg was placed in very low water and started eating seafood right away.
03/26/2020 Egg had a large plastic bag in his feces today. We will be monitoring him over the next couple weeks to make there is no more in his GI tract.
03/28/2020 Egg now has a full tank of water, eats seafood & lettuce very well and is not on antobiotics.
04/17/2020 Egg was medically cleared for release by staff veterinarians.
