Fall 2022 At Home With Mote Schedule

September 28, 2022 - Fish Faces: All About Fish Adaptations

You can tell a lot about a fish by looking at its face and tail, like where it lives and what it eats.  During this virtual class, we will learn the technique of “reading” a fish while we create our very own new species of fish. So put on your best fish face and join Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium this September!

October 26, 2022 - The Boo Crew: Investigating Biofouling Communities

During this month’s program we will explore the slimy and squishy, the creepy and crawly, the tiny organisms that make their homes on docks, seawalls and even other animals! These animals are important filter feeders and super cool to explore. Together we will do a scientific investigation to learn more about these fabulous fouling friends. The game is afloat this October, with Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium!

November 16, 2022 - Aquarist Apprentice: Exploring Animal Husbandry at Mote

What does it take to care for the animals at Mote?! Top notch husbandry, that’s what! Don’t miss this splash-tastic virtual class with Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium!
